Wooooooossssshhhhhhhh.Winding up Adders is practically an international sport these days.
Anderson would probably suck at that tooWinding up Adders is practically an international sport these days.
See the trouble being its not too dissimilar this time. 10/11 had Clarke and Ponting (yeah I know but it can be said he started his real slide that series). Big difference in our favour is Usman at 3 imo, on home pitches. But even then it isn't a gimme if Moeen manages to duff him, or Crane.Let's face it, we all know it. Anderson's going to be rubbish.
The bloke has an away record which is slightly better than Indian spearhead Ishant Sharma (149 wickets @35 in 47 games vs 146 wickets@37 in 47 games). The guy's entire reputation of being not completely rubbish overseas is because of one series where he got wickets against an Australia lineup with Shane ****ing Watson as the most consistent batsman.
I've been told that she does indeedYour Avatar sucks.........a lot.
This is what the truth looks like, it's uncomfortable.Let's face it, we all know it. Anderson's going to be rubbish.
The bloke has an away record which is slightly better than Indian spearhead Ishant Sharma (149 wickets @35 in 47 games vs 146 wickets@37 in 47 games). The guy's entire reputation of being not completely rubbish overseas is because of one series where he got wickets against an Australia lineup with Shane ****ing Watson as the most consistent batsman and a "great" series in India where he picked up a grand total of 12 wickets in 4 tests against a lineup consisting of a geriatric Sachin, a Sehwag who was literally wearing glasses and Pujara and Kohli who'd barely hit puberty at the time. Truly great achievements those. The vast statistical sample of his overseas bowling suggests, as I mentioned before, that he's literally Ishant Sharma, only with 2 fewer 5fers in the same number of games. Atleast they'll have an excuse ready though... Like when he takes a pounding in India its because his ribs are suddenly broken for some reason or he goes to SA and averages 117 and they say it's because he broke his toenail. And we're supposed to believe he'll somehow do well in a country with the flattest pitches in the world against a lineup which revels in pounding attacks to dust on roads. OK.
It's fine though. There'll be a convenient excuse ready and he'll go back to England and take 76 wickets @12 by destroying greats like Kyle Hope and Jehan Mubarak and everything will be fine and dandy. Can't really say he relies heavily on swinging conditions though, oh no... But isn't Cook's mediocre home record excused because the conditions favour bowling so much? Nah I'm sure fans wouldn't be stupid enough to say that. Itd reveal the blatant double standards and expose Anderson for the hackfraud he truly is.
There's a better chance of him averaging 25 with the bat than there is with the ball. Book it.
That's an improvement on previous years for him tbh.Cameron Bancroft, 685 at 40.29 for Gloucestershire this year.
Yes, 2016: 192 at 21.33 for Gloucestershire, albeit from only 9 innings. That's an improvement on previous years for him tbh.
Elite reference for a guy whose join date was after that series. Was expecting that post from Spikey a day before the first test tbh.
