As far as I`m aware it was just the first test for Philander... unsure of Morris.Wasn't Vern ruled out of the second test and morris till the ban t20's?

Although he hasn't played in the Sunfoil Series, so I suppose it depends on how strict Gibson is going to be with that. But if not him then who? The spinners have been the ones taking the wickets in the first two rounds, so there's not much to go on.Parney it is. Both him Olivier bowled out Sri Lanka but that was at least at the Wanderers. Better be some pace at Bloem.
Was thinking of saying that too. Considering he had an injury as well but did play Carribean T20. It just shows you what it means about Paterson, B.Hendricks, Dala, Magala etc with our 'A' team losing series because they not as strong as our A teams used to be.Although he hasn't played in the Sunfoil Series, so I suppose it depends on how strict Gibson is going to be with that. Important to strike early.I am sure Vern is ruled out of the series
Nice start by Rabada
And he's got a third. Rabada seems to have this thing where he can look somewhat ordinary for long periods of time then all of a sudden he'll just turn it on, which is what he's doing now.Its amazing how often Rabada picks up the slack when we are a bowler down...
I wonder if that is do to his easy run-up...And he's got a third. Rabada seems to have this thing where he can look somewhat ordinary for long periods of time then all of a sudden he'll just turn it on, which is what he's doing now.
Could be. He had a short but decent spell with Kent but it could also just be inexperience of conditions (patience required etc)Rabada has been on a fantastic line and length this morning, built pressure. Think he may have been trying to hard in Eng and did not quite find the radar. Maybe the Duke ball?
Maharaj's exploits have helped offset our fast bowling problems. Imagine what things would have been like if we'd had to rely on some of our past spinners.Maharaj also bowling fantastic this morning!
Just confirmed by Haysman.... **** sakes. And Parnell the most likely.Apparently 6 weeks rest for Morkel.... did I hear that right?
