Ali has 10, and he and Stokes walk into the Saffer side.Yeah It is annoying when some "pundit" randomly says some score when a) You havent seen the other team bowl or another team bat b) If the likes of Stokes and Ali can score runs relatively easily the pitch is not to tough
Not Ali... but Stokes definitely atm.Ali has 10, and he and Stokes walk into the Saffer side.
Ali makes it over Maharaj, doesn't he?Not Ali... but Stokes definitely atm.
I prefer Maharaj as a bowler... I pick players for their primary ability than as allrounders.Ali makes it over Maharaj, doesn't he?
Yeah, basically this. Always strikes me as a bit unfair that (Root moreso than Cook) they in a way cop flack because their teammates are often a bit rubbish.Lineup is heavily reliant on them too, so if they don't convert their fifties into big scores it stings more. They'd probably get a little less criticism in a stronger lineup.
Indeed.Stokes has played really well but they've bowled so badly to him to, especially early on today.
Excellent is very strong. Inconsistent would be my description, some torrid spells some unplayable ones.Have criticized Morkel's Test bowling on here a fair bit in the past, comparing him unfavourably with Stuart Broad, but he's been excellent this series.
No there wasn't.Daylight between bat and pad, not sure what they're talking about here.
Yeh it wasn't clear enough to overturn the on-field decision. Not sure about that decision to be honest. Looked like bat onto pad. Surely too much doubt to overturn.
