Many batsmen have commented on how difficult he has been to face, due to the steep bounce he gets. But he just does not take enough wickets for all his ability.

Just a quick question to everyone here have you ever fell out of love with cricket? Did it last long? I ask as for about a year now I've not felt the same about cricket for some reason (still watch every game on TV but haven't been to watch Kent for a while).

I do wonder whether the difficulty batsmen have in facing him has worked in South Africa's favour in that he's able to unsettle batsmen who then have to try to face Steyn or Philander, and you don't want to be unsettled with either of them bowling to you. So that would make him an ideal third seamer, but not necessarily the best man to be leading the attack.
