Yep, the issue for England is lack of quality bats, not lack of batting depth. If taking the gloves off Bairstow improves his batting even a little (moreso long term) then it is clearly worth it. Apart from the fact that he keeps dropping catches every match my mother could take. Clear isn't good enough. Guys like Stewart and Prior were wooden in their movement early on but they at least caught simple catches. Bairstow's a good fielder anyway, just a **** keeper.****ing awful. Bairstow as a keeper will continue to be an issue. Not sure why the selectors are just happy to pretend it isn't. Game over now, they will get 50 to many at least.
Gotta feel for Finn there, but I really hate ****s who lose their temper like that on the field.
Yeah, nfi. Is it at least a smaller margin? How can impact possibly be umpire's call?
Does Borthwick play for Durham?Yep, the issue for England is lack of quality bats, not lack of batting depth. But anyway piss poor selections neglecting fielding and screwing over guys like Borthwick have gotten England where they are now, staring down the barrel.

It's a good point - hadn't really thought about it, but of course impact should be factual, there is no margin of error involved?Yeah, nfi. Is it at least a smaller margin?
Tends to happen if you drop both batsmen.England getting an English tail done to them.
I'd rather Root just got his **** together and did it....Only thing left for him to do is hit a match-winning hundred.
That would mean he must have located Ian Botham's 1981 scriptwriterOnly thing left for him to do is hit a match-winning hundred.
