Yeah it does kind of make sense. How come Ox hasn't been tried in CM at all this season? Given Arsenal's problems moving the ball forward since Cazorla got injured.

He has played a couple games. I don't really like him centrally though. He's a great dribbler, but the type to drive at the defence rather than carry the ball forward from deep. He's also not the most tactically intelligent player around off the ball, and plays with his head down quite a bit. Pep could improve both those though, which is why I think it'd be a really good move for him. He obviously has the physical and technical attributes, but he doesn't really have a specific role at Arsenal.

I wish that Gibbs strike went in!

Also I read something where everyone's favourite insane Uncle Felix Magath suggested awarding no points for a 0-0 draw. Could that possibly be a good idea?

From the "you couldn't make it up" department:

The manager of Brøndby IF just resigned from his post after it was revealed yesterday that the club chairman and owner had anonymously slandered him and a number of colleagues on a web forum.

I'd link but it's all in Danish and no one wants to read that tongue.

Ewood?

Here's another one (albeit one I'm not completely sure I know the answer to): apropos of yer Foxes possible coronation, when was the was time a team won a maiden title in one of the big four (English, German, Italian & Spanish) leagues?

VW Wolfsburg got to be worth a shot. German champions in 2009.

Villa are in the top 4 or 5 all-time for titles if I'm not mistaken.

Think it's something like

United 20
Liverpool 18
Arsenal ~14 ?
Everton/Villa 9

Anyway can't find a link but it appears that Prem clubs are putting a £30 cap on away tickets.

That's great, and is a good sign moving forwards. But my problem with high ticket prices is the effect it has on the atmosphere at the grounds, and the atmosphere at away ends is never the problem.

I actually hoped to see Prem tickets hit a mark of about £300 for the cheapest, but that's just me

This seems pretty out of the blue and very anti-narrative. Arsenal are going further and putting a minimum £4 surcharge on that £30 cap for our fans and apparently more clubs are likely to do the same. I was under the impression the proposal for the £30 cap had already been voted down.

Villa have 7, but yeah they're in the top five. More suprising is the club which is next on the championships list - Sunderland, with six.

All by about 1920 if am not mistaken? I actually knew they were next. Thought Villa were on par with Everton though, fair enough.

How many do Chavs have, think they only had one prior to Abramovich?

Yeah, they're on five now - one pre-RA, four since.
