Garbage, isn't it. Still, it's the way they play, apparently, so that's OK.England are trying to outdo every previous collapse. No pragmatism whatsoever. KP would have got a score on this surface.
you are the worst analyst there is or ever will beI really think Morgan needs to be dropped. We can't carry the captain and he's done **** all.
Three collapses in as many white ball games is why I'm p*ssed. How many sides not have a game like this every once in a while in t20s?!
Fair comment, and I'd have to admit that the 7 in a row in this format had slipped through my radar.People reacting like there is some magic way to bat that will have England win every game without fail is something I'll never get.
When they bat too slowly - bad strategy
When they lose wickets - bad strategy
When yog-sothoth devours spectators - bad strategy
They've won 7 matches in a row going into this.
Slightly different make-up of team though wasn't it, by memory? One more batsman.People reacting like there is some magic way to bat that will have England win every game without fail is something I'll never get.

Maybe so, yet Morgan hasn't cleared 30 in a game that matters in SA.you are the worst analyst there is or ever will be
Would you straight up drop one of them? I'm not sure the bowling strong enough to really get away with Root being the sixth option.Think we need to face that Stokes and Moeen in the middle order is a real problem in limited overs, don't think we can ignore that when Billings is availabe.
In 50 over I'd do just that, but I think Roy's ability to get us off to a fast start in T20 is something that's hard to overlook. Just not sure what we do, shame they don't trust Willey up the order.Would you straight up drop one of them? I'm not sure the bowling strong enough to really get away with Root being the sixth option.
Dropping Roy for Billings and opening with Moeen avoids that conundrum to an extent I suppose.
Not enough. Need to give credit to SA who bowled and caught exceptionally well to keep Buttler quiet as well as pick up wickets throughout.

I think Eng should open with Root, classy player that can beat the inner ring without trying to hard... and probably hold the innings together to let all the others play with freedom. I think the problem with Stokes is that he is not playing with freedom, he is coming in at 5 having to keep the innings going but nervous to lose his wicket. I would swap Butler and Stokes. Butler can easily play both roles of going after an attack or taking singles... (take this as a SA supporter that's no expert on the English team)Would you straight up drop one of them? West Indies, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have all hosted the World T20 in that timeframe as well.I think it's a few factors. This is a big one, but I'd also argue that spinners tend to bowl at easier times in T20 cricket, and (probably most crucially) there are also a disproportionate amount of T20Is played in Asia and the West Indies where spin is a bigger factor.
In the last five years, percentage of matches including at one Test playing nation played in Asia/WI:
T20Is: 62.44%
ODIs: 48.66%
Tests: 48.57%
