ugh Eng SL qf. Seen enough of them to know what happens. It's a decent England team but unlikely to be good enough to beat SL in asian conditions.
Nah, I reckon England are the form team and if our youngsters throw their wickets away under pressure like they did this morning, it will be plain sailing for England..ugh Eng SL qf. Personally and I'm no betting expert (and I'm biased as an England fan) but I feel SL should be the favourites. There was a tri series between Eng, IND, SL before christmas. England lost this game to SL 3rd Match: Sri Lanka Under-19s v England Under-19s at Colombo (RPS), Dec 14, 2015 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo and this game ( 6th Match: Sri Lanka Under-19s v England Under-19s at Colombo (RPS), Dec 18, 2015 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo) got rained off but it would be fairly safe to say England were going to lose given their two best bats were out.Betting sites have England favorites against SL - I am wondering if that's correct
Pretty appalled.
My opinion of Mankading is similar to most people, I'd imagine. Have no problem with it as long as there is a warning first. I had no sympathy for Jos Buttler. I am aware this is not a particularly rational argument.
There was no attempt at a warning in this case. The bowler has robbed the people at the ground, and those watching on TV, of an exciting finish to a keenly contested match. He has also robbed his teammates and himself of the chance to know whether they could have pulled off a win without Mankading, even if they don't realise that yet. And the way they celebrated was immature but I suppose you can't expect much more of U19s.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe should have won without needing a last wicket stand.
Well instead of running him out as soon as you are aware he is doing it, you instead just pull out of the delivery stride and warn him, so he doesn't gain an advantage in the meanwhile.Yeah but that sends the message to batsman that it's okay trying to steal a little advantage because you'll just get a warning. If you remove the warning then batsmen will, shockingly, have to follow the rules for a change.

Yeah but the batsman loses nothing by attempting to push the limits until you warn him which doesn't usually happen anyway because it's not worth the bowler distracting himself from bowling when all they can do is warn the batsman.Well instead of running him out as soon as you are aware he is doing it, you instead just pull out of the delivery stride and warn him, so he doesn't gain an advantage in the meanwhile.
