ok sorry do what you want lolBravo doesn't need to be doing this tbh. Bat properly bloke
doesn't happen as much as it couldcan barely think of many pinch hitting examples let alone successful ones
Yeah, that looked really weird. Batsman was behind him.....I guess Clint forgot he was allowed to hit the stumps right in front of him
Deserves to end with a wide ot no-ball imho.comedic finish this.
I agree. Especially the last one.Last 3 overs of Thunder innings was the key.
Luke Wright has a first class double hundred and averages 40. Stop embarrassing yourself for once.doesn't happen as much as it could
also very difficult to monitor or quantify tbh. You could argue it happens most games. eg. Luke Wright, Ludeman etc. opening the batting could arguably be considered "pinch-hitting". They wouldn't bat top 5 in First-class cricket.
Not the same as throwing a Sean Abbott up the order though, but I wouldn't blame his failure in last night's match as indicative. Sean Abbott has just completely forgot how to bat.
So again the 18th over proves crucial. Im buying deano sharesLast 3 overs of Thunder innings was the key.
**** your posting is just an atrocityLuke Wright has a first class double hundred and averages 40. Stop embarrassing yourself for once.
ffs if you want to contribute meaningfully I would welcome it but all your doing is making stupid points and insulting people while completely ignoring what is actually being said. You're the **** calling Luke Wright a pinch hitter. Bloke regularly bats 5 in County Championship and has opened in international cricket. **** me, wind your neck in.
When I think of pinch hitting in cricket, I always think back to Craig McDermott in a handful of ODIs. They chucked him in at 3, 4 or 5 and I don't recall it EVER coming off. Hated the idea ever since...can barely think of many pinch hitting examples let alone successful ones
Considering White should have been out for 29, that was a massive boost for them.I agree. Especially the last one.
I also felt Cameron White's consecutive boundaries, when he was on 30 from 30, were key. Last match, he lost his wicket at that moment. There's a difference between anchoring the innings and consuming a quarter of all deliveries at a run-a-ball. I think you should not be on 30 from 30 when chasing 180 in a T20. It puts too much pressure on the rest. But good on him, as he got his team out of it himself.
Doesn't make him the right MOTM imho. Bravo's innings was arguably more important. And Bravo bowled 4 tidy overs, taking 2 wickets. And he lost his bat again .
