Wow, looks like the second major upset of the tournament is on the cards! Don't know what's causing it, but SAF have been a bit of a let-down since arriving in NZ a couple of weeks back. Though maybe they're trying to undo the knockout choking curse by being wildly mediocre through the group stage for a change.

Lol let's not go overboard. We're generally just passable in ODIs but as you said it visibly improves in big tournaments, which is great.
Problem is India plays so much cricket they only really show up and start giving a **** in big tournaments.

I'm not going to take how they field vs SL in their 79th ODI against them that year as a genuine indicator of how good they are. Nor am I gonna rate NZ's fielding based on the 100 warumup ODIs they played before this WC. Nor am I gonna rate any sides ODI fielding unit based on Test performances.

It's all going to be down to how they field when there is something at stake. And India are really good at that.

This Indian ODI unit is a Good fielding side.

Especially in big tournaments and when their tails are up.

The fielding standards drop in terms of slip catching and fielding when down in the match in Tests.

God damn,
How awful does a reverse sweep look when it leads to a dismissal like that,

Probably nothing tbf, just always thought he looked and acted like a spoiled brat...and that was purely from a distance.

The fact I'm struggling to articulate the reason is actually fairly poor on my part. :p
Haha, that's perfectly okay. We all have our irrational dislikes. I always hated Cameron White for some weird reason. No clue why.

I know the run rate is up near 9ish but 3 dot balls in a row inside your first 20 when there's ~20 overs left is not the end of the world
