*Official* English Football Season 2014-15

I sort of like it. :) Most of the bigger sides spend all this money, start the season assuming it'll be easy. Then some smaller clubs really bust-a-nut in training, recruit prudently, and come out firing. It really raises the overall quality of the league.

The big teams are all so much worse than they should be though. I would be really enjoying if not for the Chelsea factor.

...but it makes them realise they can't coast it. and then they up their standard. Imo.

You think they will do? Because they are certainly not doing it right now. I just think they are sides with basic deficiencies.

I think United and Liverpool have got into a mindset where they consider organised defending almost beneath them. The defending is just so casual sometimes. Teams come to Old Trafford and as soon as they lose the ball they're into the two banks of four, with strikers picking up midfielders. United lose the ball and sort of amble back into position and only offer half-hearted protection to the defence.

Arsenal have a simpler problem. They only have two centre-backs. What the **** Wenger? Four-year-olds wouldn't make that mistake on Football Manager.

If West Ham make CL, we are all doomed.
Would be more fun than watching Arsenal plod about and go out in the second round tbf.

Obviously not going to happen but I don't think that will be the result of the big sides dramatically raising their game, although you do have to expect both Manchester clubs to improve.

One of which had a chronic achilles injury everyone knew about.

£8m per season. Stuck with him till 2017. Meh, I've said enough about him and the situation over the years.

edit: missed a word.
