Thought you were a fan of the ECB and Cook?Praise from Caesar.
Well, we could ruin Root or continue to grind Cook into the ground whilst turning a blind eye to Prior's ongoing horrorshow, I suppose.
Bell is the vice captain isn't he? Might inspire him to bat a bit better as well.Who's skip?
It's more the situation it creates than the quality of the player. Germon wasn't terrible, but guys brought in as a specialist skipper from test one have huge pessure on them to earn the respect of the team, get the team going well, cement their place, learn how to deal with the pressures of being a test player and captain at the same time....Foster is genuinely world class as a keeper, tbf.
If I've ever given that impression I can only say I've been under a lot of pressure lately.Thought you were a fan of the ECB and Cook?
Beat me to it. I'm confidently expecting the change of skipper to transform Broad & Anderson into the epitome of McGrathesque accuracy. So who's calling the shots with Cook off?
EDIT: Ding Dong, it seems. Audition time, wee man.
