Amazing how Williamson's strike rate is actually lower than Latham's, and yet it looks like he's being so much more positive.

Without wishing to state the obvious, Williamson's really got to try & hog the strike against Shillingford to protect Latham. Looks dangerous against the left-hander.

i wonder how we would remember walsh if he got to be the glamour boy and have his choice of ends etc instead of the others he played with?

Been really good these two after lunch, still batting with due caution but a more positive approach when allowed and putting some of that pressure back on the WI attack. A run rate of 3.21 after lunch shows they've had more intent and purpose following the break. Williamson has used his feet to come down the pitch on a few occasions and Latham has opted for the sweep shot, so they've added these attacking options to get the board ticking.

Today is not going well. Lewis out of the Canadian GP, Rafa getting ever closer to Roger and we are being handed our collective asses after lunch. At this rate the Heat will also win game two tonight.
