Awesome contributionHaven't read the thread but I hope no one is whining about Mankading of Butler. If they are, it makes the dismissal sweet.

Yeah I agree. Lets just have laws and ****ing play to them. I think letting a bowler go into his run up is to far personally though. It should be a universal rule that as soon as the bowlers delivery stride starts he can't mankad.Isn't it about time to dump this "spirit of the game" bullsh!t? Honestly I would prefer professional cricketers going all out to win the game. The batsmen are getting an advantage (however slight) by backing up too much - bowlers should be mankading left and right to stop that practice. It's already a batsman's game.
They changed that law recently to make it so that you can't finish your bowling action then mankad. So that would require another rule change.Yeah I agree. Watchout we've got a grown up over here. It's OK, he was wrong (and admitted to as such) you don't have to act like a six year old.
Yeah the old rule still exists outside of ODIs apparently which is weird. Now i've calmed down and read the ODI rules:They changed that law recently to make it so that you can't finish your bowling action then mankad. So that would require another rule change.
Had the intended effect it seems. This is a bad post.
Spirit of cricket is a ****ing weak reaction to butthurt imo. There are rules, and when you follow those rules and gain a fair advantage, thats that. **** all the other bull****.
So you were trolling, then? K.Had the intended effect it seems.
If you want me to waste some space by stating the obvious then I can. If the batsman is not interested in protecting his wicket or risks it for an unfair advantage, there is nothing to whine about if opponents run him out. End of.
Nah long way to go yet but nice to see our batsmen playing positively against the opposition bowlers..Required rate already close to just 4 - if this lasts another 5 overs this match is over.
