That's the sort of thing I expect to see when I'm in goal.
My problem is a combination of lack of height and tiny hands, which means I have no confidence claiming a high ball, let alone under any degree of pressure. Consequently any coming-for-the-ball ends poorly, so I usually end up stuck in no-man's-land wondering if I should punch or not, or just get lobbed. I have been beaten by crosses in the Staff v 1st XI fixture at school for the last two years, and whilst we aim for an entertaining and high scoring draw in this one, being beaten like that by 5ft2 12-year-olds is not confidence-boosting.
I was about to say something very similar actually. Have conceded plenty of goals like that in my time.
They're both horrendously over-rated?What do Iker Casillas and Steven Gerrard have in common?
I'm sure it won't surprise you to hear that height has never been an issue for me. Judgement though...terrible.My problem is a combination of lack of height and tiny hands, which means I have no confidence claiming a high ball, let alone under any degree of pressure. I am now basically sticking to my line and trying to set myself to save any header. Managed the best save of my life on Wednesday night (half my team mates said "Gordon Banks" afterwards) but if I was even half-competent in the air I wouldn't have had to try stopping a point-blank header into the bottom corner...
And nobody likes them. They're both horrendously over-rated?
It's like he's swapped feet with Yaya Sanogo for the night.Bale
