We've played good football at plenty of times in both of his spells - his plan b is always grinding it out though and this season has needed plan B more often than notBoth had to endure Ronnie Moore as well.
Haven't seen you this year but can tell from the replies to your Facebook post he still plays awful football. We have played some decent stuff this year despite the results so the fans aren't as pessimistic
Well he's about the most aged looking 17 year old I've ever seen, even if he isn't 41.Anyway, for anyone who hasn't seen this yet: BBC Sport - Joseph Minala: Lazio respond to false age claims of teenager
Man, Magath must need the money.Fulham sack Meulensteen, replace him with Magath. Must be going for Palermo's record.
Nah I don't really fault him here.Hate that whenever Mourhino says anything in the media he gets hailed as some kind of genius. No he is just being a ****.
Brilliant manager but none of that is down the what he says in the media.
That stat is true, but I'd still disagree that it is systematic problem insofar as tactical considerations are concerned. We're not conceding goals in certain contexts within the game that repeat itself. They're mostly out-of-left-field ****-ups, even though they've happened an inordinate amount this season. Rodgers himself basically said the same thing.I think I read that Liverpool have made more individual errors leading to chances or goals than any other team. So it is sort of systematic. In the sense that it's been going on long enough that we can expect it continue.
I suspect this might be true tbh though tbf I still don't think he would have been a good appointment.I have the sneaking feeling Meulensteen would have been a better bet at United than Moyes. Was well placed within Fergie's hierarchy until the diktat and Moyes' resulting cleanout of backroom staff.
His record against Moyes' United with the worst personnel in the PL isn't bad at all though.I suspect this might be true tbh though tbf I still don't think he would have been a good appointment.
If you mean the kind of guy who is first at practice at 8am and lets the lads run twenty laps of the pitch, yeah.Man, Magath must need the money.
He's an actual manager, isn't he?
More that he's actually been a successful #1, really. If you mean the kind of guy who is first at practice at 8am and lets the lads run twenty laps of the pitch, yeah.
Probably because his rep in Germany is as a slightly less modern coach than Otto Rehhagel.Won the Bundesliga with more than one club before. There's no way yer Cottagers aren't a massive step down.
