I think that's exactly the sort of situation where the attacking side should be getting the benefit of the doubt.

I don't think a player should be considered to be offside unless no part of his body is in line with the defence.

Yeah very much a "technically..." type offside.

Only one team in it anyway so hardly matters.

I can't stand him. Every time he plays all I can see is that "header" against QPR two seasons ago that allowed Cisse to stroll in.

In regards to our defence, it really freaking annoys me still that Thiago Silva went to PSG for a very affordable fee and wse're starting players like a young Nastasic and Dimechelis. But I've been spoilt in the last handful of years so I'll get over it.

Lescott is terrible by most standards though. I think you'd be justified in disliking him even if you hadn't been spoilt tbf.

Wouldn't be that surprised if it's similar to the Suarez one. Would certainly increase his value in the summer anyway.

I doubt it actually, I think the 300,000 a week will help keep him happy. At 28 I can't see many teams being willing to pay the money for him.
