Hate that whenever Mourhino says anything in the media he gets hailed as some kind of genius. No he is just being a ****.

Brilliant manager but none of that is down the what he says in the media.

Both had to endure Ronnie Moore as well.

Haven't seen you this year but can tell from the replies to your Facebook post he still plays awful football. We have played some decent stuff this year despite the results so the fans aren't as pessimistic
We've played good football at plenty of times in both of his spells - his plan b is always grinding it out though and this season has needed plan B more often than not

He's a TRFC legend and I shook his hand on my wedding day ffs (random but) but his time is up you'd think.

Well he's about the most aged looking 17 year old I've ever seen, even if he isn't 41.

Article on the Beeb's site says age fraud is rife in Africa. To such an extent that FIFA have introduced bone density tests to ascertain players' actual ages.

Rumour has it that Taribo West was actually 14 years older than his official age.

Fulham sack Meulensteen, replace him with Magath. Must be going for Palermo's record.
Man, Magath must need the money.

He's an actual manager, isn't he?

Nah I don't really fault him here.

Wenger has had his say about Mourinho and Mourinho has had his say in response. Asked his opinion and he gave it. I find it a fairly difficult opinion to disagree with as well.

I agree with the overall point that "mind games" have very little to do with anything but if Mourinho was being a **** then so was Wenger.

Yeah it is a fair point in this case but was referring to all the other stuff we have heard the last few weeks as well.

Dad always rated Finney much better than Matthews. RIP.

In other news, cool as ****, but I bet he couldn't sort out your u-bend if blocked.

I think I read that Liverpool have made more individual errors leading to chances or goals than any other team. So it is sort of systematic. In the sense that it's been going on long enough that we can expect it continue.
That stat is true, but I'd still disagree that it is systematic problem insofar as tactical considerations are concerned. We're not conceding goals in certain contexts within the game that repeat itself. They're mostly out-of-left-field ****-ups, even though they've happened an inordinate amount this season. Rodgers himself basically said the same thing.

The most systematic thing about it is the fact that we've not been able to field our 1st XI backline this year much and it's been quite a while since we've been able to.. Skrtel aside, we're missing Enrique, Johnson, Sakho with Agger only just coming back, who would probably be starting in the usual scheme of things.

I have the sneaking feeling Meulensteen would have been a better bet at United than Moyes. Was well placed within Fergie's hierarchy until the diktat and Moyes' resulting cleanout of backroom staff.

I suspect this might be true tbh though tbf I still don't think he would have been a good appointment.

If you mean the kind of guy who is first at practice at 8am and lets the lads run twenty laps of the pitch, yeah.
More that he's actually been a successful #1, really.

Won the Bundesliga with more than one club before. There's no way yer Cottagers aren't a massive step down.

It's like a supermodel making a living giving hand jobs to meth heads.
