Would Stuart Broad make India's strongest test XI?

What about Zaheer? Or is he now completely gone, thought he was the pick of the Indian bowlers down in Aus, Broad makes it as a third seamer for mine if Zaheer is indeed buried.

He's been binned off for being a fat, unfit **** who's got a bad attitude.

Well, that post was over 2 years ago and he has improved leaps and bounds since then while about the other 2 less said the better. :p

And as to the initial thread question, as if Broad makes it ahead of Sir Jadeja.
It was wrong then, it's hilarious now.

Zaheer is still better than Ishant for a series in South Africa, surely? Praveen Kumar would be the obvious pick, but he's seemed to have rubbed off the wrong people the wrong way.

I'd rather play Ojha in South Africa than Ishant tbh.

I don't really cop enough stick for my over-rating of Sreesanth tbh, and that's due to just how much more Teja over-rated him by comparison. Thanks for that Tej'.

You don't cop enough of your overrating of Watson back in the day either. You basically get away with murder. WAG/C

I was going to go through the thread and multiquote some of the stupid posts but I realised that a) I've already done that and b) it would just look like I was majorly picking on Cevno, which is just so 2011.

Enough with this engineer love. It is time to acknowledge that Dhoni makes the first cut of any ATG Indian XI. 200+ victims, solid late order batting (primarily in Asia) and clear headed captaincy all combine to make him as obvious a selection as gavaskar, dravid, kapil and tendulkar.

and yeah. broad, as much as i abhor him, will make it ahead of srinath and zaheer.
Engineer and Kirmani were both outstanding keepers and very good batsmen. I pick them for their keeping in an Indian side. Dhoni is a decent keeper but not in the same class as the other 2.

Reckon umadkat will make his comeback in the same country where he was humiliated on debut.

He's only 24 too; the BCCI could always throw some money at him to move over to Mumbai and do his four year qualification. I can't wait for the day something like that happens...
Looks like the ECB have someone reading this forum; they've stolen my idea and he's signed for Lancashire...
