The NZ team that lost the series in Bangladesh contained Taylor, Ryder, McCullum and Vettori. So, yes, this team is considerably weaker than that team.

BJ picked up a quad strain while batting and won't be out for the second innings. He picked up the injury early on but battled through to get 40. Tom will take the gloves.

Looks an under-par score from NZ, again no-one going on to register a real defining contribution with the bat. Such a shame this NZ side is missing so many big players to make a real fist of things out in the Caribbean, it could have been a far more exciting series.

Be interesting to see how Boult goes on his ODI debut, have seen him in Test cricket when he's look a potential talent. But there looks far too much power in this WI side on a relatively small ground, hope NZ take it to the wire though, but that means removing Gayle very early.
