The Tiger King
definitely not wrongWould it be wrong to say Pietersen is loved and admired a lot more around the world by fans than he is in England?

2 had him during the WT20.How old is his son now? It could be that he doesn't want to miss a big part of him growing up.
In any case the ODI series will be more competitive now.
Yes for some reason they seem to link them together.Nursery age.
In any case he's said that he would have been available for the WT20 but the ECB selection policy means that if they rule themselves out of one format they're not going to be selected for the other.Bit daft from the ECB IMO.
Been able to play T20 well doesn't mean your going to crack it at ODIs.
Going out on top innit.Surely the ECB will rejig their policy in order to keep Pietersen for the WT20. Isn't he ranked first?
That's the thing, you know how much he'd have been looking forward to playing in it and defending the title.Mental decision when the T20 WC is a couple of months away.
Yeah, I bet he is.KP probably doing it deliberately at this time so he can try and get the ECB's rules rejigged.
Doubt it. Hugh Morris has already come out and said that the selection criteria in place is sensible and Pietersen will be replaced in both T20I and ODI squads. I can't see them going back on that, particularly not the ECB who stick to their guns and don't just change policies to accommodate individual players. If anyone changes their mind, it'll be Pietersen.Surely the ECB will rejig their policy in order to keep Pietersen for the WT20.
**** you, foot!Isn't it just, talk about shouting yourself in the foot.
