Moved to Hampshire's coaching staff.

The thing is aobut that post, Chalky coming back is still mor elikely than Jones making it through a Test match, or the trip to the ground.
Sad but true.

A much needed good day for Yorkshire today after a troubled last 24 hours or so. Things didn't appear to be improving at 33-3, but some average Leicester fielding by all accounts and a couple of very healthy partnerships should see Yorkshire take total control of this game don't you think ?

bairstow has a real chance of ramming his name down the selectors throats if he can make this 182* into a big double or triple hundred.

lol rediculous jinx. literally 30 seconds later on bbc radio leeds he falls.

Actually kinda hope Jonny does get the gig, just cause the Windies series seems the perfect time to try out one of the younger blokes who have yet to be given a chance. Would be happy with Taylor as well but he seems to be in pretty bad form at the wrong time.

Swann grabs Ashwell Prince with his second ball of the day. Anything I could possibly say about that has most likely been said a thousand times before. I won't bother.

Swann gets Prince. Big surprise. (beaten to it)

These low scoring early season games are not good for Broad to get back into form. Last season he was expensive in lowish scoring games and Notts lost both games Swann and Broad played at the start of the season having being doing well previously. Broad I think almost tries too hard to get wickets when he goes back to Notts. He should goto the tactics that has been so succesful with england and just bowl accurately and give the batsman nothing rather than try and bowl quick and smash through teams.

1st game back from injury, it's kind of expected for him to be not at 100% and struggling for rhythm, it looks like that's exactly what's happened. Hopefully what he will do is get better as the game goes on and look to be more consistent, especially in the second dig.

Mortgage was on that happening. Was listening to Prince battle it out against Andre Adams but the test was always going to be Swann. Read really missed a trick but introducing him so late. Ashwell’s failure here pretty much ends any hope he had of playing test cricket this summer.

On Andre Adams, quietly approaching 250 wickets for Notts at under 24. Top pro, averaged just 20 in NZ domestic cricket as well. Arnel gets 1 cap too many, NZ indulge Southee but Adams got 1 test, took five wickets and that was his lot.

Yeah it's something that regularly gets discussed in NZ threads. I definitely think he was under-rated due to looking pretty gash in one day cricket and he was/is known as being a bit of a knob too which wouldn't have helped. In many ways he was the New Zealand Philander, except New Zealand never got their Kirsten.

Durham really missing Stokes here. Collingwood is no fourth seamer anymore(possibly never was), and although it's good to see Borthwick given plenty of chances you have to think Durham would be better off with another frontline seamer in this match - gotta love Plunkett and Harmison - both former england internationonals - both seemingly fallen of the earths axis. Warwickshire bat to 11 as well.

If Plunkett wanted to develop as a cricketer he really should have left last year when he had the chance imo. Harmison seemingly is completely injury ridden and i doubt he's getting much second team cricket in with this weather at present.

Adams gets 7 wickets and Swanny 3.

LoL Swanny bowls Jimmy to take the last wicket.

Good to see Bell get a hard earned ton, 102* so far but running out of partners.

Durham tend to heavily underbowl Borthwick anyway. Stokes has probably been overbowled lately, he's a proper bowling option but he's not even 21 yet and he's our number 4 batsman. He has to be used sparingly or he'll get injured pretty frequently.

What's happened to Jimmy, only one over in the second innings.

Looks like all the England fast bowlers who've just come back from the sub continent, are seemingly having a bit of trouble adapting back to home conditions, although Jimmy apparently bowled very well, just without any luck in the first innings.

Excellent work by our bowlers to have Leic 9 down for just over 100, it's been a good response by everyone to the Shahzad issue.

Reece takes the last two to end up with 10 in the match. Leeds/Bradford MCCU win by 79 runs. Sussex might want to seek some advice from Durham on how to become a first class side.
