Do you know what the go is with Querl?de Grandhomme the traitor! I really really hope he has a horrible career along with his partners in crime Sean Ervine, Gary Ballance, Anthony Ireland and James Cameron.

Not really. Unlike Gary Ballance and S Ervine who've made it pretty clear they are vying for an England spot he hasn't really said anything about his international career.Do you know what the go is with Querl?
Nah give Nethula another run. Was criticised here for not getting turn but he deserves another chance to show he's got some goods IMO.Looks good, except I'd play Ellis instead of Nethula.
I drew a few graphs and have determined that on the criteria set out previously, Colin de Grandhomme should replace Brownlie.

Graph showing Thierry Henry's annoyance regarding CdG (y axis) over time.
Strangely, if you plot a graph of Thierry's enjoyment of Roneel Hira's game over a timeframe stretched over a good dozen years, the graph looks pretty much the same.
Yeah, it's a lot of bowlers. But that line-up will give Latham a run up the order a bit, and give a bit more responsibility with the bat to NcCullum and Bracewell etc. That's a lot of bowlers. This is definitely an opportunity to give another batsman a run IMO. Maybe CdG will get a run...
Well in a full-strength or World Cup situation you're definitely never going to run with Nathan McCullum at 6, no matter how many injuries you have, so I reckon it's a bit of a waste.Yeah, it's a lot of bowlers. But that line-up will give Latham a run up the order a bit, and give a bit more responsibility with the bat to NcCullum and Bracewell etc.
It's not like 6-9 can't bat.
Well, that's the sort of thing I was thinking. It's a perfect opportunity to give whichever batsman is next in line an opportunity. With Ryder and Franklin blacklisted, who actually would make the squad right now as a reserve batsman if the team was in a full-strength situation like a World Cup? It's the time to start figuring that out; not the time to waste the opportunity and play six bowlers, some of whom inevitably won't really get a proper bowl anyway. They should just bring in Jimmy Neesham, tbh.
In a world cup situation Ryder and Franklin wouldn't be blacklisted. One of Dean Brownlie and Tom Latham would be the reserve batsman in a full-strength scenario and even if a new guy like Neesham was selected he wouldn't be ahead of Nicol, Guptill, McCullum, Williamson and Latham in the batting order. So it's much like the six bowlers situation where he wouldn't get much time in the middle.Well, that's the sort of thing I was thinking. Maybe because people only seem to care when the chucker actually gets an advantage from throwing it? ie it's an issue when a spinner can turn it more or both ways (Ajmal, Murali), or a quick bowler bowls genuine pace (Shoaib) but not when someone still just bowls 130ish like Ellis (and Mills for that matter).btw, no-one has a comment on the fact that Ellis chucks?
Agreed. Don't really care about ellis' bowling.Maybe because people only seem to care when the chucker actually gets an advantage from throwing it? ie it's an issue when a spinner can turn it more or both ways (Ajmal, Murali), or a quick bowler bowls genuine pace (Shoaib) but not when someone still just bowls 130ish like Ellis (and Mills for that matter).
Not saying that any of those guys mentioned do actually throw it btw, just more people were concerned with their actions
