Haven't seen an uglier specialist batsman than faf for a long time!

He makes up for it with clever thinking, though :) He's the sort of player we can use in the middle order.

Herath is going to be the seventh bowler used here.

Seriously, if they're going to show faith in Mathews+Dilshan to get through some overs (which they should) then there's no need to pick five specialist bowlers as well, no matter how well Nuwan is batting lately.

Smith nearly carelessly running himself out there, doesn't need that now he's got himself in and looking like making a big one. Perera testing him out on the pull, Smith comfortably passing the exam.

Good hands from Tharanga there, Herath's first ball and Petersen drags it wider than he'd have hoped. SL certainly needed that.

I've have little bet (as in really, really little, at huge odds) on Parnell to top score and Robbie P to top score in this innings so I'd really appreciate it if the pitch stopped playing plum and the bowlers stopped bowling such pies, thanks. :p

Think they're going to have to ton up, as it looks Smith's on for a big one.

Sri Lanka have managed to pick seven bowling options, use them all in the first 20 overs and still look at least two bowlers light. Doesn't matter how many you have if none of them are very good/bowl very well.
