Nah, they usually succumb to 55-5 before Shakib () rescues them and props them up to 150-200.For a change it isn't the Bangers collapsing to a sub-100 score.
Yeah, he shouldn't be anywhere near the test side. I'm not sure they have any adequate replacements though. How long before Imrul Kayes gets the chop from the test side? The guy averages 17 from 14 tests and yet seems to be a shoe in for their test side due to the fact that he manages to grind away at a snail's pace in one day cricket scoring slow 30s and 40s most of the time.
Siddique would slot right in but he seems to have fallen out of favour from the test side for no reason.Yeah, he shouldn't be anywhere near the test side. I'm not sure they have any adequate replacements though.
Yeah it'd go Tamim>Daylight>Bashar>Shakib probably.Would it be a fair statement to say Tamim Iqbal is the best batsman Bangladesh has ever produced? Bashar probably deserves a mention but it's rare to see one of their players average over 40.
Hasn't really looked out of form though, just getting out when he pushes the aggression instead of getting any luck.Tamim hasn't quite been himself since his surgery I hope this 50 is the first of big things.
Comfortably. He would probably get in every other team in the world apart from England and India as the rest either have dodgy openers or just 1 good one.Would it be a fair statement to say Tamim Iqbal is the best batsman Bangladesh has ever produced? Please read this PEWS.Comfortably. He would probably get in every other team in the world apart from England and India as the rest either have dodgy openers or just 1 good one.
I would imagine he will be the first Bangladesh player to get to 10 test centuries and 5000 test runs as long as he stays fit. Him and Shakib are gems among a pile of dross, at least Ashrafail has been dropped again though.
I bow down to flibbertyjibber's great knowledge of world cricket. Please read this PEWS.
