Mushfiqur probably deserves to be mentioned alongside Shakib when it comes to batting these days.

I'm very happy with Bangladesh's position at the moment, although I've only seen one over of live coverage, so no idea how good the Chittagong pitch is.

your theory on why he has improved - if you would be so kind...
To be honest it is probably just down to experience. Showed last year against England he had technique and a good temperament. We forget he has only just turned 23 so has had to do most of his learning in the international team. Add in the fact he has the gloves as well and i think he has done very well with lots of potential to improve in the coming years. I'd be pretty disappointed if he didn't end his career with his average in the mid 30's to be honest despite the burden of captaincy and keeping.

So you don't rate Tamim then, that is fine. What gives you the right to be a sarcastic **** and make out you know more than everyone else though?
Wasn't actually a crack at you; I was just pointing out that someone else saying something doesn't necessarily mean I'm wrong. It was a crack at Hurricane's post if anything; sorry if it came out wrong. :p

Just due to more experience, he's still only 23 years old. I think Mushfiqur probably puts a higher price on his wicket compared to everyone else in the team. I'm not saying he's a better bat than Tamim or Shakib, but he's less likely to get out to a rash shot (hope I don't jinx him now).

I'm happy that he's moved up into the top 6 where he belongs in this setup.

If he can get another century soon pressure will build on you to change your view.

I will post you a personal message if he tons up:ph34r:

50 for Mushy. Taken to the captaincy, hasn't he?

Bangers in a pretty decent position, but unless Nafees comes back out then there's hardly any batting to come.

Yeah really only him and Junaid Siddique who like batting long periods. Mahmadullah can but is prone to throw it away too. They have the potential to have a useful top 6 if they pick the right men and actually bat them in the right order but for some daft reason it doesn't matter who the coach is the team has a lopsided look about it every time they play a test.

Good start from the Bangers. Rash shots from Tamim, Shakib and Kayes, but atleast they got themselves in before throwing it away. It's an improvement :P
