You said "not sure where luck is", discounting it completely in terms of the timing the rain came in that match. Yes all team get breaks, good and bad but the point being made was that the breaks haven't gone for India this series. That is all.

Yes they are to blame for most themselves, but can't just completely discount it and say it had no effect at all.
The last rain-break gave you a chance though, you were losing beforehand, then got a favourable run-rate, you still lost, gimp still right. So we can't say something is lucky until irt all pans out, so we don't know if you were lucky, so luckyness is subjective, whilst winning isn't.

We're lucky because we have a better team then you, andwin when it comes to the crunch.

Yeah no doubt. They were odds on to collapse in the heap against the spinners before the rain came IMO; the rain will help them no end as it'll not only break up the flow of the match and let them re-group but also soak the ball, making it a harder for Ashwin and Jadeja to grip the thing.
This tbh.

The advantage duckworth lewis gave us was written off by the loss of momentum and pressure.

Plus the wet ball was a added blow with spinners. No point debating it with you though as you seem to be interested in a youtube style flame war.:p

Can you make your mind up with this wet ball issue please?

India also benefited from the overs that were lost. Most of the lost overs would be from seamers (lost a maximum of 2 overs from Ashwin and Jadeja), and the equation was reduced *after* most of the pie-chucker overs were used up.

Anyway England really have done everything possible to **** this up.

Not in ODIs he isn't. Scores his runs much faster than Broad does, which is what you want in this situation.
Ok. Strange, if you think about it. Maybe it's a Matt Prior-like case. Who is another superb strokeplayer in test match settings with the attacking fields but not a fine LOI player.

Broad's problem I think is that he usually takes time to settle in before he gets going; when you're batting down at 8 or 9 then you won't really get that in an ODI.

Batting powerplay taken and Ashwin coming on. Interesting.

Leaving it till now, could backfire on England here.
