English Domestic Season 2011

Good to see two very promising West Indian cricketers looking to enhance their development by coming to play some for County cricket. Darren Bravo and Kemar Roach have been signed as overseas replacements at Notts and Worcester respectively.

They may not be the glamorous names that came over to county cricket on decades gone by, but these are two very talented individuals that seem keen to improve and experience alternative conditions in the longer form of the game rather than joining the T20 specialists route.

I'm sure they will offer plenty to the counties but the ties that may be formed could prove important in the years ahead.

Well said. Decent hit out for Darren Bravo, think he has got 3 or 4 championship games and as many limited overs matches. Should be good for his development, especially with the West Indies touring next year.

We have not won a match all season don't forget, even a one innings match could still be beyond us.

Anyone seen much of Toby Roland-Jones?
Just on telly, looks okay, but not particularly quick. Don't see him or the likes of Nathan Buck challenging for an England place anytime soon with our reserves.

Well, was really fuming at the hants/durham match earlier, but it's set it all up rather well. Four teams really in with a chance.
