So Warks get around about 15 points for a poor pitch while Worcs pick up 3/4 injuries and another defeat.

Poor pitch agreed, but how bad must Worcester have been for Warwickshire to get almost 400 first innings?

Bloody hell, the square at Grace Road is an insane shade of radioative green. The kind one only normally sees in supermarket own brand marrowfat peas!

Love to know what kind of feed the groundsman's using.

du Toit slashes at a wide one and Ambrose the former (?) England keeper pulls off a blinder.

Taylor to the crease and charges the first ball! Not short on confidence, the boy. Captain for the day too, in Hoggy's absence.

Jason Roy doesn't muck around. SR in first class cricket is in the 80s as well. Stick KP in Surrey's side its 40%+ Seth African born.

He's not quite in the Yardy/Chanderpaul league, but Taylor does have quite a pronounced shuffle across his stumps to take his guard.

Light on his toes tho and seems to have time to adapt after the initial trigger movement.

If he outscores Morgan and Bopara in the Loins game the selectors might have a punt. Averages 50+ in List A & FC, which is seriously impressive.

I like his little scampery skipping down the wicket.

Over 300 runs in the CB40 this year, averaging 75 with a SR of 100.

Ajmal Shahzad in great form - 59* off 34 balls to help set up the total. And if he's as quick as he was on Thursday he's got a good chance of defending it.

Somerset's one-day batting is so, so good. No idea how they managed to start the CC so badly.

Tight chase looming at Headingley. Not sure why Wainwright keeps being picked, he has almost no place in the side when Gale can't trust him to bowl before 4th change.

Hants still **** then but great to see Dimi back, that and Kabir being fit give slight cause for optimism. Still we need Tahir fit soon or we are getting relegated.

Considering we had 3 top one day players out, and our 3 opening bowlers have played about 12 matches between them, it was ridiculously easy.

God knows how Lancs have got to second in the table in the 4 day game.

No distance behind with a game in hand to be precise

Reason is the management are only interested in ending the 77 years of hurt and couldn't give a tuppeny toss about this 40 over bollocks - quite right too in my opinion - we'll let the also rans compete for the mickey mouse competitions

by dicking **** teams at Liverpool by an innings

We haven't given a **** about the poo 40 for years. T20 is the money maker and the Championship is the goal. We also don't have any money so we can't buy half a team

Watching a bit of Worcester v Middlesex at HQ. Good to see Paul Stirling's successfully avoided salad since the world cup.

Obviously celebrated Ireland's success with a pie or several. Has moved from chunky to portly.

Looks in great touch tho, even if the Pears' bowling attack looks quite friendly.
