yeah and Freddie never had any injuries
Before any ****** accuses me of comparing my hero with Tendy, I'm not. I'm merely pointing out hypocrisy. If pressure means we give extra praise to Tendy, then we cut slack to Freddie who had to bat top six, lead the attack and captain England at the time when cricket was under its greatest scrutiny in this country. He hadd chronic injuries himself and players dropping all around him but all I've ever read is how unprofessional he is because he got bladdered and on the pedalo.
Sachin has faced pressure, but so have and do many others. I gave valid examples and they were met with 'I hope you're joking'. Why? Is it that hard for you to accept that other guys have it tough to? That Ponting stood as Sachin's equal/superior through the 00s with the added burden of leading the top team in the world and watching them retire? Is that not greater pressure than Sachin ever had to face? Of course it is. He sucked arse as a captain and moved on. Some might say Ponting sucked arse as a skipper too but the fact is,
he scored bucket fulls with that pressure.
And I didn't even mean to make this Sachin V Ricky but the fact that I did kinda sums up how ****ing ******** it is to try and put Tendulkar up there with Bradman.
