You lot weren't complaining when you got the shockers last year against England.Appalling decision by the TV ump to overturn Davis, the standing umpire, and give Nash out!
I've looked at that replay several times, and all I can see for certain is that it's brushing his sleeve on his upper forearm. Ian Bishop and Jeff Dujon are clearly of that view too....
I have a serious problem with the way these umpires use the technology.
Don't think this collapse should be held against them.India was bowled out in 20 overs by Steyn. Steyn in full flow is a class apart. You lot weren't complaining when you got the shockers last year against England.
Pathetic by West Indies, should they be in test cricket? At least Bangladesh fight.
Other teams would have made him work somewhat harder than this.In the defense of the WI though, Steyn would have have taken five bowling like that against any team.
Do think at least one batter (Like Sehwag scoring 100 of 130 that game) would have stood up, but when Steyn is bowling like he is now, a team collapse or an almost team collapse is a given.Other teams would have made him work somewhat harder than this.
No receder yet.Steyn, the Sehwag of bowling.
It looks like a pitch that will offer nothing to Steyn and Morkel so not having Taylor and Roach probably doesn't matter too much, especially given how many wickets the spinners took.
Yeah Morkel's 3 wickets at the top were far more valuable than Steyn mopping up the tail.OK, so Steyn is an excellent bowler and he took 5 wickets BUT it was Morkel who did the vast majority of the damage (4 of the first 5 wickets, taking 4/9 at one stage) and yet barely rates a mention
