Okay, so it's the Chamber tonight, or No Way Out as it used to be called. Thought I might as well post some tips
WWE title - Sheamus (C) V Randy Orton V John Cena V Triple H V Ted Dibiase V Kofi Kingston
Been mulling this one over, and I honestly think it's wide-open. Some are more likely to win than others but there is nobody I would rule out completely.
That being said, I can't see Kofi winning it, would be epic if he did, hopefully he gets a decent amount of time to shine after being removed from the match last year. But I'm scratching him off.
Okay then we have Orton and Dibiase. They seem set to face off at Mania, possibly in a three-way with Cody. Now there's nothing to say for certain that it won't be for the belt, but I don't see it. So they are both scratched off, just hoping to see things go off between them but not to an extent that means the Mania clash won't be 'new'.
Then Cena. Again, he looks set to face Batista at Mania. Now part of me thinks that Cena might take the strap here, because Vince has perhaps promised big Dave a title shot at Mania against whoever Edge doesn't pick...you certainly could have Cena-Batista for the belt...I think it has enough going for it without the title though. So Cena is off the list.
So we have The Game and the Celtic Warrior. Now I reckon they will face off for title at Mania. Which means one of them will win here. All the signs point to Triple H, but then it's always better to see a title change hands rather than retained on the big stage (see Triple H-Orton last year for a great example of ****ing this up) and the annoucers have banged on so much about how he's the favourite that I actually don't think he'll win it. So...
Winner: Sheamus
Intercontinental title: Drew McIntyre (C) V Kane
Hard to see past this being anything but a big win or the Scotman.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Divas title: Maryse V Gail Kim
Hard to see past a Maryse victory, hopefully we'll then see her join up with The Miz
Winner: Maryse
World Heavyweight title - Undertaker (C) V Chris Jericho V R-Truth V John Morrison V CM Punk V Rey Mysterio
Holy **** am I looking forwards to this!! While the RAW chamber seems to be more wide open, the guys in this and the potential subplots mean I am expecting an early contender for match of the year.
First up, there is the whole Morrison ankle shenanigans. Will he be able to compete? Will Shawn Michaels try and take his spot? I wouldn't look past it.
Then there's the Rey and Punk feud that's boiling. We should see it really spill over in the cage tonight, ready for a showstealer at Mania. You've also got R-Truth getting his chance to shine.
When all is said and done though, I can only see one winner. The fear I have is that Vince likes to swerve things sometimes when the Internet seem to be onto what's going to happen - see Matt being Jeff's surprise attacker instead of Christian, and Triple H retaining at Mania last year. That being said, Jericho-Edge has been on the cards ever since Jericho was drafted to Smackdown - I suspected they wanted to do it at Summerslam originally - and it would be hard to see it being anything other than a Mania classic. On top of that, Taker's title reign is starting to run on empty, if he retains here then he also retains it next month and that's probably a bit too long. So Jericho for the win, but what I'm interested in is how he gets there. I'm predicting involvement from HBK, be that legitimately as a participant or somehow from the outside. Should be a ripper, anyway.
Winner: Chris Jericho
Rumour has it we'll see Edge V Batista as well (Big Dave to win if they do, IMO) and hopefully we'll get something else as well. But let's be honest, this show is about the two chamber matches, and I can't wait
