I know its Serena but shes 6-3 4-1 down and playing total trash so this would be some comeback.

Also for those interested, they were just saying on Eurosport that they will be covering the Australian Open so hopefully they have a few different matches to 7.

Dementieva does it to Serena again in Sydney.

FMD.

Hopefully they meet at the Aust Open with Dementieva being favourite again.

Anyone watch? Was Serena horrible like last year, or actually outclassed?

Naa she was terrible, could barely go a minute without an unforced error. She seems to have a knee injury with is definitely a concern too.

I see.

To be fair she did the same thing last year where she came back from nowhere to beat Sam Stosur and Wozniacki where she looked dead. I remember DCYE pointing out how **** she was playing, and then she walked the Aust Open.

Will wait and see how she goes next week.

LOL! Is anyone watching Novak vs. Tomic?

Novak clearly taking the piss, can't believe betting is allowed on this match. He intentionally missed that smash.

Almost like it's fixed

Again he just let go off the smash!

Wtf, it's like he's ****ing around in the practice court. He'll do an impression soon.

SBI not sure if you were saying that sarcastically, because Tomic is a good player and I'm not saying he's not.

But if you're watching this match you would understand. Novak in that 2nd set had an easy smash. Instead he turned his racquet the other way and tried to do an underhand lob over the net. He missed and the crowd laughed.

He then went and sat in the crowd.

I hope Tomic wins to be honest cos Novak shou;ldn't have bothered showing up. Any other player would have been better.

No not taking the piss at all.

He's beaten Ginepri, Stepanek, Simon and is now taking Djokovic to three. I've not seen any of them, so I assume the only person not taking the piss was Ginepri.

Watching now Djokovic has sort of lifted and will no doubt take this set 6-3.

Yeah, never saw the Stepanek or other matches. Stepanek has more pride than Novak in trying to win every match though.

I don't mind that Novak was trying things in the match - he's clearly practicsing his volleying and drop shots. That's what you should do in an exhibition match.

But in that 2nd set (ironically the set he won) that little stupid lob instead of just smashing showed more disrespect to the opponent than actually being funny. I know Tomic laughed but when he followed it up by not hitting another smash and letting it land in the court it was cringeworthy.

4-4 now. Even Novak surely wouldn't want to lose this.

2 match points down and Novak pretends that he needs a trainer. Glad to see he's taking this seriously lol.

Ah well, good stuff Tomic.

Wow.

Exhibition or not, not the ideal preparation for Novak on the back of a pasting against Verdasco. Still reckon he'll build up a nice head of steam in the first week of the Open with his draw, though

Amazing final in Auckland. Isner wins 6-3, 5-7, 7-6. His serve is awesome to watch.

I put a lazy $20 on Isner after 2 sets @ 1.90.

Yeah, his serve is awesome, couldn't see how Clement would be able to break him in the last set.
