I'm still very much in favour of batting Katich at four and Hussey at six.Who exactly replaces North?
The only players banging down on the door are openers.
Yea this is best choice, if North as he should ATM be dropped. Hughes to come back & open now.I'm still very much in favour of batting Katich at four and Hussey at six.
No way in the wide world that Marsh is one of the 6 (lucky to get in top 10) best batsmen in Oz which probably means he's a shoe-inI am surprised Aussie doesn't want to bring Haddin up a spot and find room for Nannes.
I quite like the idea of Shaun Marsh coming in at number 6 for Australia tbh. I know it's not his ideal position, but I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be capable of batting there.
. I'm surprised i cant reach throught my computer & slap you..I am surprised Aussie doesn't want to bring Haddin up a spot and find room for Nannes.
The fact that he's not good enough yet and wouldn't be much chop no matter where you batted him is a good reason IMO. Having half a good season and being technically sound doesn't make up for an entire career of being fractionally above average. I have hope for him and I think he has a lot of ability but I don't want him to get picked before he's scoring consistent Shield runs; I'd still back North ahead of him at this point.I am surprised Aussie doesn't want to bring Haddin up a spot and find room for Nannes.

Whatever happened to the John Howard fanboy when you first joined?I voted for the man, but...
GET RUDD OFF THE SCREEN!
Bangladesh doesn't count
I have never suggested that he does ATM. The most i have said he shouldn't just be T20 specialist & should be in the reckoning for ODIs & tests as wellAussie, Nannes doesn't really deserve a spot in the Test side.

Disagree with the above. Marsh has had more than half a good season, he's now had 1 1/2very good seasons. The fact that he's not good enough yet and wouldn't be much chop no matter where you batted him is a good reason IMO. AWTA. No way should Nannes be batting at 6.You're taking it too far now aussie. There's no way Nannes is better than North on batting alone.
