Does he really need to hit three figures? 60* (100) would be enough to get him on the plane to NZ I would think especially considering the lack of an obvious replacement.

I believe so. I know for sure Hayden was dropped at least twice during his 380, but not early though..

I have to agree with the commentators, the umpires should be widing Aamer for all the negative bowling. If Rauf would would wide Warne for negative bowling outside legstump, then the same should apply here.
