**Official** New Zealand v Pakistan in UAE

I think it's more about how he you appeal and the reaction if the decision does not go in your favor.
But that is dissent which he got found not guilty of.

He got found guilty of over appealing because he appealed without ever looking back at the umpire (which as mentioned other bowlers do also). Now to me that isn't as bad as some bowlers constantly appealing when they (and everyone else) know the batsman isn't out.

Anyway, I do think Mills was worthy of being fined, I just think others need to cop a bit of punishment for "over appealing" also.

Waiting for the T20 match.. I think our batsman needs to perform very well as the bowling will be weakened due to injuries

After what happened in the Pak camp, don't think Pak is well prepared to against the high on confidence Kiwis.........

NZ without Vettori, Mills, Oram & Franklin today....If Pakistan don't win this, the knives will be out. Strange McCullum winning the toss & bowling first, must figure the bowling's the weakness (with those players above unavailable) today, so get it out the way early

Pakistan's team has rather a lot of decent bowling options.
They do actually & they've probably been as good as any T20 side going around in the last few years. Coupled with the fact this is probably the weakest NZ side they've sent out for years (yes, even by NZ standards), expecting nothing but a toweling today.

Worrying news for Vettori...sounds like some kind of delayed reaction to the blow in the head the other day

Heh yea. McCullum/Styris would be 6th-7th bowlers at best in Pakistan's team. NZ need a full quota from both.

Yup, can't remember a NZ team with such a limited number of bowling options in a ODI/T20 match, normally they have about 7. Certainly makes a difference when they have Vettori, Mills & Oram.

Redmond :) anyone know why they don't bowl him more, expecially when he was playing tests.

For the main New Zealand have bowled pretty well (Butler was poor). Both Bond and Southee bowled really well to begin with, Southee was swinging the ball away and seemed to beating the batsmen for pace on the odd occasion which was good to see. Redmond bowled really well too, he even gave the "Afridi" celebration a try when he got him out He did do something to his groin though and went of injured which is a shame, I guess Watling will open for sure now.
