Merv Hughes did say he doesn't have pay TV so he can't watch any of the games on Fox sports.
Well 100 bucks a month is 3 cartons.

Loving that they're playing Beds Are Burning at an Indian stadium. One for the environment minister.

I think that 280 will turn out to be par on this pitch, I expect runs in the middle overs to be difficult to come by.

Why? This pitch is flat and the bounce will even out as the match progresses as the dry grass on the top will settle. Also due factor is a major issue, I reiterate.

I could be wrong, but I think that Hauritz and Voges will prove tricky and may get more than their fair share of turn and bounce on this track. Of course, I could be wrong, but I do not think it will be as easy against the old ball as it has against the new ball.

It hasn't been easy against the new ball. Hilfenhaus bowled poorly and Sehwag batted really well.

Also, regarding spinners bowling well, Indian spinners Jadeja and Harbhajan will find it difficult as the dew comes in in the second inning. So you need at least 300 plus if not 315.

The only line Hilfenhaus can succeed with is a bit short of a length on this pitch one feels. He bowled two balls short which were on the money. The fuller balls were there to be hit.

The Indian spinners are likely to struggle, but I do think the Australian spinners will do well. It is difficult to find a par score but I do think that this is looking like a big Australian win (due to the toss, dew factor and removal of the two openers within 11 overs) unless we can have a batsman to bat through and strike at around 90 in the process.

I dont think Aussie spinners will be that effective on this pitch.

Whatever it takes!!!
It's bouncing above waist height.

Sehwag's been great so far though. Love the stand and deliver mode. Top stuff
confusing Gambhir with Raina or Rohit there, are you???

Or you juz don't like the fact that he gives it back to the Aussies just as hard in sledging terms? :p
