Gambhir is some one who is a great student of the game. So I don't think he will be sorted out against the short stuff. He is a far better player today than he was two years back and will be a better player in a couple of years time.

Not sure mate.

And I'm pretty sure Mitch doesn't really know either
Yes. The thing is, that I have an extremely high arm action and so I end up pushing the ball across the right hander with my fingers and wrist. You'd think that lowering the arm would negate the effect but there is still this distinct shape away from the right hander, similar to what Johnson gets.

Haha yeah exactly, not at all surprised. Surely someone like Nannes or McKay would be better.
What's that, he bowled another short delivery? Never

Ponting/Watto need to ton up if we're going to win from here. Either that, or Johnners cleans up a few in his next spell.

What do you think now, Manee?
I'm tremendously happy. I'm not usually one for baseless scepticism but I truly did not expect such a fine display of middle order batting. Hauritz and Voges have got a fair bit of assistance from the track but Dhoni and, to a lesser extent, Gambhir, have countered it with shrewd footwork.

Thought Dougy might have got a run today. Had a couple of decent A tours to the subcontinent. Add to that Hilf's fairly average ODI record to date, and I thought the nude nut was a fair chance.

Yeah that's true actually. I would have played Bolly-wood for sure. I'm thinking India will make 375, hopefully they make 333 (for Shep).

Do you still think 280 is the par score?

Definitely on the cards.
Sid's been the only one who looks likely. He needs these two this spell, or I reckon they're specials.

And as I type this there's a run out from a mis-judgment after Dhoni miscues a slow ball. Gambhir gone.
