Hmm letting Gareth Andrew hit 77* isn't too clever from Notts. County Championship all but a formality for Durham you'd think.

Hamish Marshall opening the bowling for Gloucestershire.

On-the-back of his first class exploits and he takes a wicket in his first over.

Marshall is causing them all kinds of problem. And before last week, he never bowled before in anger, just use to turn his arm over in contrived games.

The new Mark Alleyne.

He isn't even bowling anything special. It's full, straight and slow, and Hampshire are treating him with the same tentativeness that you'd see from an England team against Murali at Galle. I've never seen anything like this.

It's working, you have to say.

He looks sub-village tho.

Was very impressed with young Griffiths for Hants tho. Bowled full and quick and swung it. Stats are ordinary in the extreme, but there's something there.

Yeah, I liked him but he is a tad small and built like a jockey. Naturally gets the ball to comeback into the right-handers and is lively though. Seems to be quick through the air, as the wicket has no pace.

And as I type, Marshall gets his second wicket.

Middlesex' top three all educated in South Africa.

And it looks like Sajid Mahmood has some grey in his hair...

Actually a bit more then 'some', the grey is fairly pronounced.
It happens to the best of us; was twenty-one when I started getting silver highlights.

Like the look of Parry's SLA myself, gives it a fair rip and hasn't chucked in any freebies so far.

Would it be wrong and immature of me to hope Steven Davies' career goes doen the pan now the turncoat has left Worcestershire at the first possible chance? :@ :baby:

Pah the hell with it. Heres to Surrey getting stuffed next year! :pissed:

He clearly doesn't fancy Division 1 does he?

A smart move now would be for Worcs to sign the, presumably, disaffected, Jon Batty

One minute, five balls. Would think the fact that numbers 9, 10 and 11 have managed the monumental height of double figures spells demotion for ol' Donkey.
