+1c'mon the dutchies for tonight. Will be rootin for you guys.
If it means adding another nation to the current crop and expanding the game, then i dont mind India losing at all. The game needs more recognition in different areas of the world to survive. India were pretty much in Holland's shoes in the 1983 WC -was a minnow nation- Look where a victory in a world tournament has got us. So I dont know about him, but if it is good for the game, I have no objection in seeing Holland in the finals at India's cost.Yeah you would like to see that cuz it means Pakistan will be out lol
by the way would you want to see netherlands in the finals at the cost of INDIA???
Thats because Holland deserve to be in the Super 8s more than Pak given their attitude towards the competition this time.C'mon Pakistan
everyone is against you here
just lift your game to your potential, that's it
no. if pakistan goes through, holland goes out. england are definately through. Not possible unfortunately, the English beat Pakistan too emphatically and the Netherlands beat the English by only a single run.
sorry i didnt mean to quote u.Not possible unfortunately, the English beat Pakistan too emphatically and the Netherlands beat the English by only a single run.
In that case, come on Holland! Not possible unfortunately, the English beat Pakistan too emphatically and the Netherlands beat the English by only a single run.
Very poor call IMO. If Pakistan set a total Netherlands won't even try to chase it. They'll aim to get within 24 runs and get a place in the S8s.Threw a lazy bet on the Dutch to win to spice things up for me. $6 seemed like good odds.
So, if Pakistan score 180 batting first today, Holland has to get only 156 to qualify? They have a very good chance to get to the Super8s if they restrict Pak to 160. 134 is an easy total to chase. Was only a dollar, worth a dollar on Pakistan exploding as they do.
Nice work, but unfortunately incorrect. The relationship isn't quite linear because of different quotients. If NL score 100, Pakistan can make 101 in 99 balls (16.5 overs) and end with -0.604, and NL will have -0.630.eg - If Holland scores 100 in 20 overs. Then according to the above equation, x = 16.212 overs, which translates into 97.3 balls. Pakistan need to chase it down hence in less than 97.3 balls, ie, 97 or 16.1 overs.
127 + x
------------
8.7 + 0.05x
"The finishing touches were not there in 2007," said Younis. "But it was fantastic to be a part of that team in the final. Some guys were crying at the end, but in T20 everything can change. My confidence is that I'll take this trophy to Pakistan, but if the plan works ins'hallah it'll be an achievement for us to finish in the top four.
"We have a lot of followers all the time in England, and a lot of cities here have Pakistanis and Indians," he said. "That's the main reason I'm happy to be in England. Our fans are fantastic back home, they are lovers of T20, and now it's dependent on us to prove ourselves. If we play good cricket it will be good for our nation. These days the whole nation is depressed, and only cricket [can lift it]. If we play good and win something, they will cheer. To finish in the top four, my nation will come again and start cheering."
