TBH, I actually agree with him. I'm starting to enjoy watching Twenty20 cricket more and more, but I think part of that is because I don't have hang-ups about what I think should happen, who I think is good and who I want to win. There's no real context of results - you pick a team at the start of the game and cheer them on. That's the concept. It doesn't mean you shouldn't try to win and it doesn't mean you shouldn't pick the best team available to you, but it's not the end of the world if you lose, IMO.

I don't think it proves a lot and I don't think the results are particularly important. A lot of people disagree and that's fair enough, but I personally don't think there's a lot wrong with how Younis views it.

Strange one EWS. Seems to be a bit like saying, "I like watching a bit of Rugby League but don't care about the results, so why should the players?"

They are paid to go out there and win. I was on the floor with head in hands on Friday night and jumping round my living room on Sunday. It's professional sport; winning is everything.

I might have to backtrack a tad on my earlier sentiments. As much as I'd love to see Holland go through, Pakistan and their local support will bring a fair bit more to the tournie in the next round.

Guess it's win-win for me then.

poor decision by Captain & the team
i guess tickets should be ready for them to come back home
if they score anything under 150, then they should pack up
& if they don't restrict netherlands to 120, they should be coming home tonight
can't see Pakistan scoring 150
batting 2nd was a good option, you can play quick for a shorter time, means if netherlands score 150, you can 've a go for 17 overs, 3 less overs, more freedom
don't know when 'll they learn
