Rahane finally came good. He needed a high position in the batting order to come good, and he played a very sensible innings to finish as the top-scorer, though he had fewer hits to the fence. He batted very smartly, often using deft touches rather than brute force, like Duminy did later on in his innings. Let's just hope he stays in the XI and gets enough chances to rake up more big scores.

Mithun bowled quite fast, but couldn't adapt to what was a rather unresponsive pitch, and the big-hitters got to him.

the question I was asking is whether the total is competitive to those who were watching the game as based on the scorecard getting a higher score by losing more wkts is an obvious thought! .... Looks like you missed the point and focused on something that wasn't even a point

nice to see MI keep their semis hopes alive but too much shouldn't be read with a win over BRC though .... they have to pick up their game and win almost every game from now on, if they entertain thoughts of a semi place

They get paid for everygame there available for and for every game they don't play they get 80%

So Mashrafe is getting 450,000 for sitting on the bench not a bad deal, if you ask me
