Bizzare decision to drop Smith who is in excellent form for Gibbs who managed three ducks in his last 4 matches. I think this should be the end for Gibbs in the IPL.

He didn't drop Smith for Gibbs, Gibbs has played all their matches and has been one of their top scorers. Besides, who would you replace him with? Symonds to open?
No. T Suman opens for Hyderabad in First class games and could have been considered. Gibbs was in excellent form for the first 4 games and then his form fell away rapidly. As compared to his earlier run of 43*, 13, 58, 69 in the first 4 games, the subsequent scores are 0, 8, 0, 0, 13. Dwayne Smith on the other hand is working himself into awesome form. And I don't think it really matters who opens in T20s.

Now India's Sports Minister, MS Gill, has condemned the 6-UP SMS game running during IPL matches. Indian viewers can send by SMS how many runs will be scored per ball, and they stand a chance of winning prizes. He says that this is a very clear example of gambling.
Interesting perspective, as it's not a slot-machine or poker game, but every SMS is five rupees for this contest. There are 40 overs in a T20 match, so you spend 200 rupees a game. You then have eleven games a week, so it's 2200 rupees a week. Four weeks, you get the picture. That's loads of money wasted on chance, so losses are similar to those in gambling. Good spot, MS.

yeah they are probaly the best for mine..... they shake the thing pretty well as well.The chargers cheerleaders for this game have got to be the best looking in the comp
Although Delhi's cheerleaders in skin tight trousers look pretty good too.

How many matches will Yusuf Pathan keep throwing away? He tries to hit another needless six and gets caught on the ropes. He's the only batsman (besides Smith) in the team capable of scoring a century, and he takes a risk too many. He may not be much of a bowler in the plans, but with batting like this, he may be not much of a batsman either.

A lot of things like dialer tunes, SMSes etc are waste of money too then. It is a punt taken by interested persons to win something. Everyone is free not to take it.
