Could feel the 'duffer' presence at Margaret Court Arena if truth be told.
Haha, incidentally enough Nando didn't seem to like being called Gonzo much at all. Some of the looks he gave the crowd during changeovers were ice.

Gasquet didn't seem to mind the Dicky Gasket calls though(either that or he had no idea wtf we were talking about). Was rooting for him hard, but must say the Chilean contingent are awesome. Brought plenty of hotness to the arena too

Yeah saw a few of the South American babes on the tube.

Gonzo just seemed in a **** mood the whole match.

Were you anywhere near the flares when they went off?

Btw Duffer, you me and Dasa need to gather and have a cricket net session one day.

Supposed to organise this with Dasa around 3 years back. Never happened.

Nah they were pretty far away from me. Loved them though, a few people who were getting ****ty about them(heard a couple of dire "bloody effniks" comments there) should chill out IMO.

EDIT: And yes to the net sesh. Was planning on joining an indoor team this winter. If any CWers are up let's get one started.

Thought Tommy was pretty much outclassed last night. I still believe he is better than 79 in the world. He could beat plenty of players playing like he did yesterday, his days of being a top 10 are over but I'd be happy to see him return to the top 30 by the end of the year, injuries are still a worry though.

Cilic took the first set against Del Potro! **** Channel 7 for not showing that live, but rather showing this ****.

Anyway, Bartoli to serve for the match now.

This is almost as ridiculous as her win over Henin-Hardenne at the 2007 Wimbledon semi.

Her two-hand forehand may look ridiculous, but it works.

I hope everyone who doesn't have anything better to do on a Sunday afternoon is watching Del Potro vs. Cilic now.

They're both so going to be future top 5 guns. Hitting the fur off the ball! Big boys.

Del Potro serving 190+km/h second serves.

Dokic takes the first set 7-5. Not the best set of tennis I've seen, but still pretty exciting.

The minute Roger won the third he was home.

How stiff was Berdych with hawk-eye not working on that point, which gave Federer break point in the 4th?

Agreed. Big set for her to win too. Especially in her last service game, where she served those three doubles.

Would be interesting to see if they ran the mens and womens as seperate slams and see if the women get equal money then. The gap between the quality of the two seems to be getting wider to me.

Anyway, don't mind if Dokic wins this, her opponents a bit of a munter this time.
