Cricketer Of The Year
AWTA...

End of Over 28 (1 runs). Swamibapa Leeds CC: 107-4, runrate=3.82
Trail by 29 runs. (odell town 136-10)
Beechers 5-0-16-0
Nkosinathi* 13 (15 balls)
Clunnie 52 (76 balls)
Last Wicket: Cooper b. Shirley 16 (FOW: 87/4)

Here endeth the most underwhelming day of crickete my boys have yet to produce. Took 81 overs to get them out and then threw 4 wickets away before even overhauling a miniscule 1st innings total of 134. To top it all of we are still behind only one batsmen in the hutch . On a positive note Clunnie is back in business with a 50.

This **** is now on the market for 16m. Doubt he will sell, but wanted to see if i could get money back on him before he got way too old to think about selling.

Might cry if he gets a bid though. Might be happy. Never know.

Haha, am tempted to get him myself because my current 5th bowler is a respectable :(
You realise that guy is only proficient? +1, and at such a low level won't make a difference. You are better off saving the money and waiting till you buy a trainee, or sell a decent player and upgrade. Don't bother with temporary top-ups, waste of money IMO.

Anyway, doing pretty well in my FC game. Shaw played a brilliant supporting role to Gray, who is now supporting Bhutia:

End of Over 52 (6 runs). Anchormen: 207-1, runrate=3.98
Trail by 91 runs. (Flock of sheep 298-10)
Cuss 2-0-15-0
Bhutia* 32 (27 balls)
Gray 113 (151 balls)
Last Wicket: Shaw c. Carrick b. Gratton 60 (FOW: 157/1)

I've set the declaration at 400 to give us a 100 run lead. At 4 an over that will give us about 30 overs at the end of the day to bowl at them... intense times. **** I am loving this Div 2 FC.

BARNES OUT
DWTA. Holmes punches above his weight consistently. Has taken the second most wickets for Hurst in CW Cup games. Deadset, put him on v.def and he just dominates everytime.
Yeah okay, I'm sure he'd do really well against those sensational batsmen I seem to come up against a lot.

My team pulled a reverse-miracle managing to concede an innings lead to a side with no batting that we had shot out for a 136:-O

My spare SLA fixed the damage with 5 cheap wickets in their second dig so now we are just 40 from the win with 10 wickets intact

Am getting stuffed by the weather in my FC match; after my lot were skittled for 260, they're 236-3 in reply. Bowlers are knackering themselves, captain is being a pillock. Trying to compete in both forms is beginning to look like a serious error. Stoopid pride.

Wooo, just beat Flock of sheep by 10 wickets, that makes it 2 from 2 in Div 2 FC so far!

Flock of sheep 298ao from 89.5 overs
Swanton 154
Gratton 71*
Ralph 5/79
Mcmillan 2/53

Anchormen 2/407dec from 104 overs
Gray 164
Bhutia 124*
Shaw 60

Flock of sheep 137ao from 52.2 overs
Gratton 52
Ralph 4/37
Mullis 2/19
Mulholland 2/31

Anchormen 0/29 from 8.3 overs
Gray 20*
Shaw 9*

This gives me a lot of confidence going forward, because I consider Flock of sheep to be one of the top sides in my Div. 1st is probably unrealistic but not totally out of the question. I'm annoyed I won't be able to go up to Div 2 in OD but I guess it allows me to focus on FC a little more. To take the next step I probably need a 5th capable batsman and a gun exquisite or masterful bowler, perhaps in place of Ralph. Ok ratings:

Anchormen
Top Order: miraculous
Middle Order: strong
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: sensational
Spin Bowling: sensational
Fielding: mediocre

I agree with this comment. The greed and desperation for success that seems to emanate from some managers here is a concern. There are too many short term thinkers. You need to think long term
