3rd Test. So he will be beyond dire. 5.3 RPO.Anderson will pick up plenty of first innings wickets but will probably still go for about 4.16 RPO
I dont like that at all. I cant see any difference to having sand or little bits of gravel in your pocket. Shouldnt be allowed
Im sure old Dipak must be tongue in cheek with his comment as his stated reason for not 'cheating' is pretty selfish
Wow McCullum - back injury - not the worst news for a batting lineup in need of another solid "stickability" batsman like Hopkins.
Yeah, I probably would have too. Good to see Fulton back in the side though.Heard on the news this morning that Fulton will replace James Marshall for the third test, personally would've given Marshall another chance especially considering Flynn's issue in the second test with Anderson.
they were talking about a patch to rough it up. Anyway, using anything else to change the ball's condition shouldnt be allowed, imo.Well, strictly speaking, sand and gravel don't help to shine the ball.
Certainly they swung more in '07 than any time between '01 and '06, but the '08 ones have been OK... on the rare occasions they haven't gone out of shape. How many overs before the ball is changed? The record was after the 1st over in the last game.
Was reading that the 2007 balls have swung more than the 2008 lot and that the replacements have been from the 2007 box.
Using anything to improve the shine is fine for mine, but taking it off is always a bit questionable.they were talking about a patch to rough it up. Anyway, using anything else to change the ball's condition shouldnt be allowed, imo.
Aye, we're getting that over here too - still no news for certain on whether O'Brien and Southee are going to be swapped back though. Guess that'll be a last-minute decision.Heard on the news this morning that Fulton will replace James Marshall for the third test, personally would've given Marshall another chance especially considering Flynn's issue in the second test with Anderson.
