Not sure who I want to win, Portsmouth just bore and fluke their way to victories and Cardiff are better and more attacking but well they're Cardiff. Hard for Cardiff to come back now tho.

Almost did it though, great run, just couldnt get on the end of it. Campbell's being exposed by pace a bit. Looks solid against Hasselbaink, but Cardiff getting behind him too easily

Enckleman's handling is absolutely shocking, it must be said. I think, on balance, Cardiff have probably looked slightly better, but if you have a dodgy keeper it will bite you in the arse as often as not.

& I want Pompey to win. Got that "not Welsh" thing about them.

Parry's done well for Cardiff, and James has shown his usual corner ability, might be a goal in it for Cardiff (that isnt disallowed).

Cant see Wednesdays game being half as good as this (though i'll take a 1-0 deflection of the refs arse if it goes our way)

Haha yes agreed on both counts, however Portsmouth have James, who is getting a bit overrated these days I feel, and looked shaky in the first half also.

Haha, loving the espn soccernet commentary tbh. Taking the piss out of Drogba every time someone falls down.

51' - Now Johnson is injured after falling over the back of Kanu. But he's no Drogba and gets back up as soon as he can.

52' - Hasselbaink, however, is doing a Drogba. And falls over.

I find it somewhat farcical that you can qualify for Europe through fair play. Surely Aston Villa deserve a UEFA Cup place somewhat more? City didn't even top the fair play league FFS, they were about 6th or 7th
Well considering the other teams in the league already qualified for Europe........

Yeah, to make it a spectacle the Taffs needed to turn their superior early play into a goal, Pompey's strike killed it, really. Still miles better then last years.

Now you ****s get off the pitch, the important match is going to be played tomorrow.

Oh and it is interesting that the top five in the fair play league seem to mirror the actual league somewhat.

Does this show

a - the best teams have the least need to give away fouls or
b - the big teams get specialist treatment from referees?

As somebody who is still bitter about Gary McCallister's tumble and Michael Owen's offside goal at PP in 2001 I know where I stand :p
