Exeter have 20% of Jamie Coppinger. Does this mean I hope Leeds win, because Copps may move on if donny don't get promoted?

Nah.

BTW what an Hat-trick that was by JC, makes Trundle look a fat over-rated nobody, TBH.

er it's hard not to make him look like that, the ****

Richards for The Arsenal, just quietly. We need a new centre-half & it's his preferred position.

Plus he's a Gooner too, which can't hurt.

Can see that more than a move to united tbh. Think he's a far better centre back than right back, and one i dont like watching us play against.

I find it somewhat farcical that you can qualify for Europe through fair play. Surely Aston Villa deserve a UEFA Cup place somewhat more? City didn't even top the fair play league FFS, they were about 6th or 7th

Man City qualify for UEFA cup via the fair play league.

Hopefully that might keep Richards, Johnson et al from joining the big 4. The last thing we need is them getting stronger & the rest getting weaker.
That is true, and is what I like about leagues like Italy and Spain, where it isn't always the same big 4 who qualify for the European Cup each year, I mean Milan who have a tricky home game against Udinese (and they have a chance to qualify for the UEFA Cup which would be good for them and did make the CL a couple of seasons ago) and Fiorentina have everything to play for in their game against Sampdoria, there is a 4th European Cup spot if they win (or draw depending on results) while in Spain we have Villarreal who will finish 2nd and that is after selling Diego Forlan (and to think SAF never rated him that much) and Juan Roman Riqueleme.

Would agree actually. Ipswich actually qualified for the Wafer Cup in the year they were last relegated from the Prem. 2004 from memory, but couldn't swear to that.

A fairer (pun intended) system would be for the fairest league in Yurp to just get an extra slot for mine, but there you go.

Robbie Stockdale has been released :(
How has Ian Moore done for you lot this season? Remember him scoring aginst us the B"@tard but not seen much else in the media about him.

Though he got a bit of a raw deal from Danny Wilson who often played him on the right wing where he wasn't suited. Certainly put the effort in though & we really could have done with him in 2nd half of the seson when our forwards dropped like flies.

Started well but like much of our team didn't finish the season too well. Has credit in the bank as a local boy who came through the ranks at PP, so hopefully he and Greenacre can build a partnership next season, or either one of them with Zola I guess

Agreed, there's nothing that deserves a place in Europe more than coming 6th in the fair play league...

IMO, if we get an extra spot through fair play, it should go to whoever came first in the fair play league, or if they're already in Europe then it should go to whoever came 6th (or 7th or 8th, depending on who wins the cups).

Currently 12th in Sun Dream Team Comp , most of the teams around me have David James in their team so need Cardiff to at least score in normal time in the Cup Final to stop him getting a clean sheet bonus.

With a decent result in the Chaampions league Final I could realistically get to 8th which would win me 2 Grand - even 10th would get me a Grand.

SO COME ON YOU BLUES

Big let off for Cardiff there, who actually have taken the game to Pompey somewhat.

After doing the hard work, Kanu was unlucky that didnt go in, though one feels he should've hit it better, especially as he had the time to look up at the goal

As I type, Cardiff should've done far better with that free kick. End to end stuff so far this
