Cricketer Of The Year
Think I'm right in saying that Junior Cullip + 10 Others have just promoted out of bugssy's league...

Meanwhile, wickets are falling and this game should be over soon:

End of Over 20 (Maiden). Essex Eagles: 29-6, runrate=1.45 (1st Inn: 208-10)
Trail by 163 runs. (The Heath CC 400-4 dec)
Turner 10-4-10-1
Haynes* 0 (4 balls)
Murray 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Wali c. Sutton b. Turner 15 (FOW: 29/6)

I'm glad Turner has just taken a wicket, he hasn't taken nearly enough in this game considering he's now a prof/prof RF bowler and has been up against competent batsmen on a cracked wicket.

that is true mate junior cullip + 10 just come out of my leage buddy.

and my one day has gotten of to a bit of a slow match, hopefully pick it up soon with a good partnership.

Doing pretty well against the side that demoted into my league. He's got 1 78k wages player playing, he's an all rounder though.

End of Over 28: 159-1, runrate=5.68
Whitelock 9-0-42-0
Kilkenny* 70 (76 balls)
Bernard 46 (52 balls)

Last Wicket: Foyle c. Whitelock b. Allen 34 (FOW: 64/1)

Hoping that he won't be able to chase 300+

Woolner 58 (92 balls)

Bowling first on a H&F pitch. RR is good given the pitch, wickets getting a bit of a worry though.

Just lost two wickets in two overs. I've got a longish tail though, so I'm still expecting 300+

My two most recent purchases are in the middle at the moment.

Wheater 8-0-58-1
Badenhorst* 5 (4 balls)

Gun innings by Daniel in the end. Should be a close game in the end.

haha. It took me a minute to get that.

My gun bowler managed to get a wicket in the first over, so I guess I'm one step closer() to victory.

Wallace 8 (11 balls)

Ludlow tonned up, whilst Harris was out on 99 ffs. Need the bowlers to really step up here. A win over this team in the 1st round would be great as I suspect I'll be fighting with them for a top 3 spot later in the season.

BARNES OUT
Hahaha Patto.

End of Over 50: 236-2, runrate=4.72
Seneviratne 10-0-56-1
Thorne* 20 (18 balls)
Mckenzie 58 (41 balls)

Poor effort with the ball against the wooden spoon favourites, I need to get an attacking/destructive bowler.

Started okay with the bat, need the top four to do the bulk of the work here otherwise I'm in trouble.

End of Over 4: 20-0, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=4.72 (236-2)
Clist 2-0-14-0
Dylan* 16 (17 balls)
Keane 4 (7 balls)

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Threw my match against a superior side. Actually, the only 2 people missing were Mills and Knowles. Our batting line up got dismissed for a paltry 110. Gleeso managed 1 wicket and that was it. Going to lose my cup match as well, but should be able to win next weeks FC match and one dayer.

Doing very nicely. Hammond is expensive but at least he's getting wickets. What orders should I set him on, he's a defensive prof/resp spinner but every order I seem to set him on he's always expensive.

Allen is their $77k wage player, he's also destructive so I need to get him cheaply and it should be easy from there.

End of Over 19: 82-3, runrate=4.32, reqrunrate=7.19 (304-10)
Hammond 5-0-30-2
Allen* 1 (3 balls)
Featherstone 38 (56 balls)

Last Wicket: Storey b. Hammond 7 (FOW: 79/3)

Edit - Allen got out for 2. Should be an easy victory now.
