Just capped off a massive Div 3 debut with a win -

Rabid Monk3ys 9/263dec from 91.0 overs
Watt 170*
Mcmillan 4/53
Ralph 3/43

Anchormen 3/401dec from 112.0 overs
Gray 206*
Mcmillan 85*
Bhutia 57
Woodward 3/63

Rabid Monk3ys 51ao from 36.4 overs
Ralph 6/18
Mulholland 2/19

Anchormen win by an innings & 87 runs.

MOTM: Gray (206*, 4ct & 1st)

Also got solid ratings, considering the morale reset -

Anchormen
Top Order: wonderful
Middle Order: strong
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: remarkable
Spin Bowling: exquisite
Fielding: feeble

Top order has to be close to exceptional, and seam to wonderful.

Prutton is an awesome find Spits. If you have him on two bowling nets, he'll pop on Monday.

Yeah I have him on 2 bowling and a fielding net as well, will stick him on a stamina net in the off season probably but he's already up there amongst my best in that respect. He's also already better than my best spinner, so you can see that I needed to improve in that area :)

Think I'm right in saying that Junior Cullip + 10 Others have just promoted out of bugssy's league...

Meanwhile, wickets are falling and this game should be over soon:

End of Over 20 (Maiden). Essex Eagles: 29-6, runrate=1.45 (1st Inn: 208-10)
Trail by 163 runs. (The Heath CC 400-4 dec)
Turner 10-4-10-1
Haynes* 0 (4 balls)
Murray 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Wali c. Sutton b. Turner 15 (FOW: 29/6)

I'm glad Turner has just taken a wicket, he hasn't taken nearly enough in this game considering he's now a prof/prof RF bowler and has been up against competent batsmen on a cracked wicket.

Essex Eagles: 208 (106) Woods 4/36, Lucas 2/30, Hennessy 2/35, Turner 2/51

The Heath CC: 400/4 (100) Kepler 203 (253), Grant 51 (104)

Essex Eagles: 33 (30.2) Woods 6/15, Turner 2/11

The Heath CC win by an innings and 159 runs

**** I just brought Jamee's backup batsmen Jlloyd Ndah for 200k. Can't believe no one else bidded. Oh well **** happens. Fills up my 2nd XI with no quality plus players though.
With lower middle order batsmen Obeysekera (invigorated) and Allison (energetic) struggling with some minor injuries after both scoring twin centuries in Jaffna Jets round one FC win. Dave Evans and Jlloyd Ndah have been called into the first XI to play last season runners up Ranatunga's Runners.

Ndah better score some runs Jamee or i'm coming after you.

Anyway won FC easierly against a bot, match lasted three days, but it means Obeysekera and Allison need a rest. Evans and Ndah are pretty much like for like so it shouldn't make a difference. If they bat we will be in trouble anyway.

Big Hitters Scaly Piscine CC

Lower Order: woeful mediocre

Oh and respectable stamina doesn't add ~750, a respectable non-primary about 1/5th of the primary wage - ie up to 150.

Day Three
Brackenhurst won by an innings and 108 runs

Brackenhurst - 438/10 off 127.4 overs
Burnip 194 (302)
Bardle 84 (249)
Hamlin 60 (60)
Bwalya 5/75 (29.4)

dalesdoogys - 116/10 off 44.2 overs
Arthur 36 (65)
Viduka 32 (42)
Smart 4/30 (13.2)
Holmes 3/12 (9)
Greene 3/21 (9)

dalesdoogys - 214/10 off 69 overs
Field 80* (143)
Viduka 45 (85)
Haughton 41 (62)
Greene 5/47 (18)
Smart 4/49 (21)

Means we should finish second this FC season, which is highly unexpected and grouse. Burnip probably gets MOTM for runs against their proficient seam-attack, but Greene and Smart were amazing.
